A new member (male) recently sent us a note and we just had to share it.
It read as follows:
“So on one side I keep hearing girls say Barre is the best workout ever. On the other side I hear guys say Barre is for girls. As a triathlete, mountain biker, dad, and overall exercise and fitness enthusiast/junkie, I had to give Barre a try and see for myself what the hype is all about. And most importantly, is it really a great workout? Is it just for girls? Is it easy? Is it hard? And all the curiosity that came with it. Well, today was the day. My first ever Barre class.
Hoy Sh*#. You kicked my ass. I’m not even going to tell you how these exercises managed to give me a workout like I’ve never had before; but it flowed, it felt good, it was really hard. It was a great workout.
Now I understand why most guys say Barre is for girls. It’s their ‘manly’ way of not admitting that they can’t handle such a workout. I challenge any guy who has never done a Barre class to try it and then tell me that this is for girls.
Barre is for anyone who is serious about getting in the best shape of his or her life.
Thank you for everything. Can’t wait to do it again.”
